Come One - Come All - To celebrate the Olympic Spirit of Cub Scouting! Bring a friend to meet and compete with your fellow Cub Scout Scouts from Packs ranging far and wide throughout the Joyce Kilmer District for free.

Go for the Gold in such events as the Crab Walk, Frisbee Throw, 50 Yard Dash, Long Jump, Baseball Throw, Scooter Race, Giant Slingshot, football throw, canoe race, 4 man ski race, and Basketball Dribble.  We hope to hold up to 10 medal events, depending upon the level of adult support we receive.

All registered competitors will receive a patch designed especially for this function at their next advancement ceremony.  Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded for each event for the ranks of Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos 1 and Webelos 2. All scouts are scored individually.

Registration is by “den rank”.  Thus first-graders are Tigers, second-graders are Wolves, third-graders are Bears and fourth- and fifth-graders are Webelos, regardless of rank patch attained.  Each den or rank-group attending must be accompanied by at least one leader throughout the day.  We will expect at least one additional adult from each unit to assist at an event.

Check-in for registered participants will be 8:30 a.m. on SATURDAY, April 18, 2009 with the Opening Ceremony starting promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Due to the number of participants and events, it is expected that this function will last throughout the afternoon until approximately 3:00pm.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase.  Please make sure each scout brings a water bottle with him to each station.
