We have a great opportunity to help our Chartering organization, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9111.   The VFW sponsors us by providing  space for the adults to plan the monthly Pack events as well as space for several dens to meet.

On Sunday, May 25th, the VFW will be placing flags by the graves of soldiers who served our country. The VFW expressly asked for Cub Scouts to help with this. Please wear your uniform and bring a water bottle. Adults to bring a hammer/mallet and a screwdriver (any kind that you can hit with a hammer that works to place a hole about the diameter of a small 12" flag staff).

Please plan on arriving between 9:00 and 9:15 am at the VFW Hall on Henderson Rd on Sunday, May 25th. It took us approximately 2.5 hours last year with about 10 scouts helping.  If you need to leave earlier, every bit helps.  (If you arrive late - we'll be driving to the cemetery that is just north of Cozzens Lane on Rte. 27 - Franklin Memorial Park)

Please take the time to come to this meaningful Memorial Day event to show the VFW how much we appreciate their support of Pack 98.
