Yards Creek Scout Reservation is off of Rt.94, a few miles west of Blairstown.
From south-west New Jersey, go north on Rte. 31 to Rte. 46 West to Rte. 94 North
From South Brunswick Area, go Rte. 287N to Rte. 78W to Rte. 31N to Rte. 46W to Rte. 94N to Walnut Valley Rd. Then follow the directions below.
Go north on Walnut Valley Road for 3 or 4 miles, it's a pretty sharp rise, until you come to the Power Station. Drive onto the Power Station property and stop at the Security Station and sign in. After entering, go right at the first fork, left at the second, and right at the third- following signs for the Boy Scout camp. Keep going until you reach the camp parking lot on your left. NOTE:You must always sign-in and sign-out at the security station
Then, go a few miles northeast on Rte. 94 toward Blairstown. Look for a road called Walnut Valley Road a !/4 mi. on the left past a John Deer dealership.This is roughly at the intersection of Rte. 94 and an unmarked road toward Vail, and about 100 foot before a Dairy Queen. There is a well marked sign for Yards Creek Scout Reservation on the right side of Rt.94.
